Moms are love

Tomorrow's the big day, when I won't have to wake up every time a kid cries in the middle of the night, or make breakfast, or do dishes, or laundry, or anything. 

I'll be woken up with breakfast in bed and won't have to get dressed all day. Wait, I'm dreaming.

Mother's day in this house is no different than any other day. I'm sure I'll get a few more hugs than usual but I'm not expecting a miracle spa getaway with hubby to Hawaii or anything.

Stock, Shop, & Ship

Brainstorming product ideas went well super well yesterday. I'm thinking of hair accessories and kid's clothing. I'm really feel the momentum with my store. True, I only have one item in store. I'll always do that push myself to sink or swim, except in the past I sunk deep. I've got The Hubs (at RealXpressions.com) and I to take pics of everything too so that will be a major help. Our dream of being a wahFamily is slowly coming true and I couldn't be more excited.

How would you feel about working with your spouse? This bothers some but The Hubs and I have always enjoyed working together. Built in lunch buddy, lol.

HOMEmomMADE is now momMADE

It's been awhile hasn't it? I'm taking a small break to revamp HOMEmomMADE now momMADE. I no longer will host items on Etsy as I don't sell that much yet and don't want to spend simply for hosting. I'm trying out WePay for my online storefront. You pay only when you sell but the fees are about the same as any merchant account.

Other changes to be made. I want to use wordpress but haven't figured it all out just yet. This may or may not occur as I'm a creature of habit and hate learning new things. My facebook fanpage url has changed so make sure to keep posted .) The dream is becoming a reality real quick!!!

Welcome to the eleventh and LAST edition ofMAKE & SHARE!

This will be the last Make & Share :( I don't know about you all but I'll miss all the great crafts coming to my little spot in blogland each week. This was my 2nd linky hop in the last year and I've found I can't keep up or promote it. So I'll be like you all and hop from here to there to get my craft fix from now on .) I've missed Creations by Kara, I used to sit and click for hours just wishing I could make some of the things I saw.

HOMEmomMADE will now be primarily about things I make and share with the world. My etsy store needs some stocking up and my sewing machine has gotten rusty (but the room is spotless). Wish me luck on my mini boutique journey. I never like goodbyes and this really isn't one just. I'll be stopping in to your blogs just to say hi now.

I don't know about you but our weeks fly by so quickly. I've relocated my sewing machine. Silly me moved it where there's no outlet. Summer's On!

Taking a break for the week to enjoy my Family. We've had 1, 2, 3 weeks of crazy car troubles and hubby has worked tons of overtime to recoop. This man really rocks my world. Today we filled up the pool, played out doors, and relaxed.

Welcome to the ninth edition ofMAKE & SHARE!

Yippee, no one got lost last week. A big part of Make & Share is the sharing part. I'd like to share with you all some tips from my big Blog sister. That's what I call them anyways. Any of you follow TheSitsGirls? They have some great workshops and challenges to help make your blog better. I call them my big sister because they support little gals like me, they know all of the right people, and they've been there done that and can help me steer clear and not make the same mistakes.

If you're needing to get out of your shell and enjoy reading other blogs they have over 8,500 women bloggers dedicated to supporting one another (with comments). It's really pretty awesome, it's also crazy how it can still feel like a small community too.

My only debate is if I should move to wordpress or stay here with blogger? Decisions, decisions. I'm thinking the later but really don't want to think about that big hairy mess just yet. I'm enjoying my new Home.

Made by RAE. I've been browsing her site only a few months now and am always in awe of the talent that is showcased at her blog. Not only that but she is an amazing seamstress too. I pretty much found my favorite shirt and it's one she made here for her new spring top. She runs a Spring Top Sewalong where fellow bloggers submit their creations for a chance to win prizes like fabric gift certificates, patterns, and more.

Reading blogs like Rae's and Dana's (MADE) inspired me take out my hardly used sewing machine, dust off the ten years worth of dust and start creating. I've come along way and expect to take it up a notch making clothes not only for my kids but for me. This shirt is absolutely me!

Meet Wooly!

Wooly with one 'L'. I guess here in 'merica we like to change words. It seems my new txt word is "srsly" Seriously? The Hubs hates it but he's not cool like me either. I do have a question for my fellow clothdiapering mommas, Srsly why isn't everyone using wool for their covers? I fell in love with Wool ten months ago when I won the wool cover pictured below by the PaperBagOwlCompany from HisLittleMrs' Giveaway. I fell even harder when I wrote Re-Imagine Wool with me for Rambler's Way via SocialSpark last September. The cover I have looks exactly like this and It's still going strong the second time around on my fourth child. It runs tight in the legs and big at the hips.

(This couldn't possibly be from me washing and drying it that one time, oops)

Other than that, It's amazing!

W elcome to momMADE! I'm so glad you made it, hopefully you can share it too. Get it, made it, share it? Okay I'm sorry. I'm just a bit giddy to have a brand new spot for all things Crafty, Etsy, DIY, etc. InLinkz has made me a happy girl too. They stepped in a few weeks ago and helped with my linky problems. Of course I have to give them shoutouts for all of their support.

Thank you to TalesOfATrophyWife for the Homemade Naan (bread) recipe last week! The Hubs loves to make Tikka Masala and we never have enough Naan to go around. Plus it can run on the expensive side.

hope your weeks has been blessed. I did a few sponsored posts and wrote about some other things I just loved. 1. Like the jewelry my high school friend is now making, Najité Jewelry Boutique. 2. Oh just lovely! Another town favorite of mine from the Vintage Pearl. I still can not believe I share the same city with such greatness. I pretty much wrote about all things things I wanted for Mother's Day. 3. I thought the 2-in-1 pictures from Snapily were really neat.

How was your Mommy Day spent? I did get to sleep in and breakfast got made by someone other than me. The Hubs got to stay home under not so planned circumstances. Our car broke down last Saturday so he was sort of stuck with me .)

Welcome everyone! Last week I had a little mishap. I thought my linky subscription would make it one more weekend and it didn't. I still have not found a free thumbnail linky, so sad because pictures are what make this hop Hop. I get why they storing images is so expensive and why most linky services have started charging fees.

I'm now using SimplyLinked and will post your images by hand after they are entered. It will be a bit time consuming but well worth it I think. Plus I love messing around with code. I'm not sure if anyone noticed but I can't seem to leave my widgets and fonts alone for more than two days. Can we say perfectionist? Not a quality I admire.
UPDATE: InLinkz is now working for me. They were a huge help with this too.

Last week's entries were low but some of you stopped in anyways and I greatly appreciate it. Troopers!

The Hubs and I had a wonderful date in the ER. I'm not joking. I got really nauseous last Thursday and Friday I got sick several times and ended up begging to go to the hospital. I've gotten sick like this before. It's really not pretty and resulted from poor eating habits and out of whack stomach acids. This time pepcid did not fix the issue and I ended up spending my wonderfully planned date night hooked up to an IV in the hospital. I'm okay today and much better just weary of what and when I eat.


I was late getting thank yous out for you all stopping in last week. I really do love how you take the time to stop in, link up, and comment every week.
