BeBolder: CHM + Fitness & Bolder Band Headband Giveaway

Working with the folks over at BolderBand, I get to bring you all a fitness review and giveaway. I'm super excited too because I've heard and seen their bands on other blogs and love how BOLD they are. I have the Aztec!

I've been documenting my fitness journey for several years, but have recently decided to take it up a notch and offer a few giveaways to celebrate the launch of CHM + Fitness here on the blog and a new facebook fan page!

Let's talk about the fit.
I have short hair currently but love the fashion statement these bands make. They can be worn skinny or thick because of the design and work even on my hair type which is natural. Think swimsuit material and you'll have an idea of what it feels like. Because these are meant to rest on your forehead (which creates a bolder look that I like) they do not budge.

The first time I wore my band was on a homeschool splash pad adventure with my 5 kiddos. It was hot, I was sweaty and there was a lot or running around with my younger 3. I should say they ran whereas I waddled, but I never lost my head band.

Sizes ranging from XS  all the way up to Custom Lrg (and bro bands for men).

Rafflecopter iPad2 / Kindle FireGiveaway

If you're a huge giveaway junkie like me I'm sure you've seen the widget Rafflecopter. If not it is a must have tool for giveaway hosts. There really was nothing like it before and I can't see myself operating without it in the future. Nissan's #HolidayQuest Party - So worth it!

I'm an addict, a giveaway addict. I can admit it but it doesn't seem so bad when you win $1k from. People, I'm excited here!!! This tops any giveaway I've ever entered by far. The thrill of winning is what keeps me going but this is more than a thrill this is just down right AWESOME. The Ultimate Blog Party - Welcome to HOMEmomMADE

Time to PARTY! I'm in some desperate need to relieve some stress. Luckily for me the gals over at 5MinutesForMom are hosting their 5th Ultimate Blog Party. I would like to just say I'm fashionably late seeing as it started 3 days ago, that's okay right? The party never gets started really until the middle. For all my new FMFM friends, Welcome and I'm glad you stopped by.

My name is Christy and this is my little piece of the blogsphere. I first started blogging in 2007 after Mr. Dreamy and I decided I could stay home with our then two daughters. Homeschooling also came into the mix and knowing how unorganized I am I wanted a place to document this new journey. I now have four kids and have no clue if we are "done". In summary...

I stay, cook, teach, birth, and soon will work at home.

Why HOMEmomMADE? Originally the name was Home-Mom.com. I thought with this domain my email would read stay@home-mom.com. Get it? Also my twitter handle matched. More recently I've fallen in love with Dana at MADE and Ashley at Make It and Love It, who have inspired me to take out my sewing machine to sew this, this, and so much more.

I want to finally do what I've always wanted since becoming a mother. To make things for my kids and to work from home. To be a Homemade Mom. I'm the first generation stay at home mom in my family. Also the first to homeschool (well not the first since schooling at home or in a one room school house was once the norm). Our families that we were CRAZY to have home births, now after 3 they know how we roll.

My dream is still unfolding right here before your eyes so to speak.

Remember this? I made the kids costumes for Halloween and PJ wanted to be an Elephant. I said "Really, an Elephant?" So I made her an elephant and it really was fun to see it all come together. You can't see her ears but they were apart of a headband that I ended up wearing as the night played out.

Naps are a joke. I mean they are extinct, right? I can't tell you when I took a nap last. I predict there won't be one in the near future, LOL. I'm a giveaway junkie, do you know anyone like that? Is it you? No? Ok, I'm alone on this one .) I just bumped into WAN (Wrap-a-Nap) over at FabulousFamilyReviews' Blog and am in love. Just the thought of taking a nap when you can get is exciting. There really aren't any traditions that have carried on but I'm looking for some creative ways to introduce some fun things into our Holidays.

Tuesday Hoppinglinky parties

Twee Poppets is hosting a great giveaway that I hope I win. Although we home school a backpack full of school supplies and a $100 Target gift card are still things we will definitely use. Target is really one of my favorite stores and had the best prices on school supplies when the back to school sales were going on. I'm sure I'll find some great other giveaways going on today too but this one caught my eye with the wonderful prizes.

Faith-Based Fitness?

Can it be true? I would never guess BeachBody would have a weight loss system like this but it's true. Check out SimplyStacie's giveaway for a chance to win Body Gospel, a 4 workout DVD set. I grew up working out with my mom both in the gym and at home. So watching DVDs over and over is actually fun to me. My mom and I would find little errors or just funny things to laugh about or mock to help pass the time while the pounds melted off. I have 12 weeks and I should be ready to hit the workouts hard. I hope I win this or get this for Christmas (hint hint) to help me stay motivated.

They love me, they really love me.

Well lets see, 7 things about me:

2. I'm 4.5 months pregnant with my 4th child and hopping to do a water birththe reason I started looking into births at home. This will be my 3rd home birth.
3. My hubby, Mr. Dreamy, is my bestest friend. There is no one I'd rather do this thing called Life with. 
4. I never thought I would have so many kids, homeschool, and cloth diaper and like it. God knew ;)
5. I can't wait to wear a bikini again and start this war against my unwanted but understood 75lbs.
6. I want to be one of those people that runs 2-3 miles every morning.
7. I am stronger than my husband but he's faster than me. I was always that girl who could lift just as much as the boys could.
