It's Friday, I'm Hopping! number eighteen

The sort of hops I adore are DIY or craft themed memes. I can sit there for hours searching all the cool projects other people have taken on and feel like I can do it too. Yesterday I sat down and made my 4 year old PrincessJ an elephant costume. The best part is I used my old clothes to do it. Last week I made the girls dolls and they really are the most hideous things I've ever seen but have the charming cuteness like those ugly dolls. Both my princesses love them because their momma made 'em. A week before that my mom brought me a throw blanket she's been working on off and on for the past few years and I still feel like I'm on cloud nine. I've been wanting to crochet my entire adult life and I finally can now. I can't wait to make hats for all the kids for winter since I'm behind on making them all baby blankets.

So my passion really lies with crafts and home-made things. I'm thinking of changing things up a bit with my hop. Doing away with or redirecting I'm still not sure. I'll be taking a much needed hiatus once the baby arrives. What are your thoughts? How many of you love crafts and hands one memes?
