BabyBondyNursing.com *Giveaway-Closed

May 15, 2011

I'm currently breast feeding my youngest, Turkey. With three other kids to corral, the little one has to eat wherever we happen to be. In public, the park, shopping, it doesn't matter when the baby is hungry the baby has to eat. I remember back to the first time I breastfed in public.

My first child, PrincessT, was hungry and we were out at the store. I had to feed her, and right then! I sat down on a flat bed style cart, draped my blanket over one shoulder and fed her. Most kids have a hard time eating this way because it is different from eating at home. It can get sweaty, hot, and dark under a blanket. Just like getting your kid to take a nap someplace other than their bed it can stress mom out. What about a way to have your cake and eat it too? A way to make baby comfortable to latch on, eat, and keep mom covered.

Missy Reder,
BabyBond Owner & Designer

I recently received the BabyBond Flex. It's worn like a sash and to be used with shirts that are accessible from the top, and has a removable burpcloth and matching pouch storage pouch. BabyBond is machine washable, 100% cotton, and made in USA.

The Flex comes in 4 sizes, I chose 4 as I'm on the plus side (not for long). It seemed a bit big on me, either I'm not as big as I thought or I needed to wash it in warm water. Unfortunately our hot water pipes broke to our wash room.

I love the concept of nursing and conversing with your little one. I didn't love so much. I had an issue with the flex model, since you pick your size it can not be adjusted. There is a sizing chart on the website, but like I said I think I'm losing weight. It's not a bad problem to have for me right now. So I recomend the couture style. BabyBond Couture is adjustable and can be worn with shirts that are accessible to nurse from both top and bottom. It would have been a bit more versatile for me as I nurse however I can depending on what I'm wearing and where I am.

Missy has created a great product that is both stylish and practical. You can buy it at BabyBondNursing.com or at Amazon.
