Batter Blaster - Review/Giveaway

September 30, 2010

What's the most stressful time of day for a mom? Take your pick right? Stress in this house comes when I'm lacking a plan. As far as meal times go I'd have to say breakfast or dinner because I actually have to cook something. Batter Blaster can help with both. Who doesn't like breakfast for dinner every now an then? It's hard to resist, especially if it's this easy.

About the Company:
Batter Blaster launched in 2007 in San Francisco but now is based in Austin, Texas. Because Batter Blaster is a USDA-Certified Organic and kosher product and must be refrigerated, I was sent 2 voucher/coupons for the purpose of this review.

Things to Consider:
*So I'm saving myself some dishes but what about the added waste of the can, what propels the batter, aren't I just making more of a mess in the in our land fills? It's a give and take, if you recycle and everyone should then no there really isn't much more waste. I make my own pop at home so we don't have tons of pop cans to throw out. We also get our water from a natural spring so we don't have tons of plastic bottles. I think I can splurge every now and then with a can of Batter Blaster. There is good news for the propellant as well, instead of aerosol they use CO2 which contains zero ozone-depleting CFC's (chlorofluorocarbon).

What I Loved:
Clean is a breeze, rinse the nozzle under running water and voila, Done. Batter Blaster has tons of recipes submitted by happy customers. Things like Bacon Pancakes, Pancakes with Hot Buttered Rum Sauce, and Chili Dogs. Mmmm, I can't wait to try some of these creative treats. They use high-quality USDA-Certified Organic ingredients including certified humane cage-free organic eggs:
Filtered water, Organic wheat flour (unbleached), Organic cane sugar, Organic whole egg solids, Organic soybean powder, Sodium lactate (lactic acid from beet sugar), DiCalcium phosphate (leavening agent), Sea salt, Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), Organic rice bran extract

Buy It! Suggested retail price is $4.99
